November 1st marks the Punjab Day. In Delhi International School this day was celebrated with a high profile celebration of the conclusion of the "Language Week". Students presented the importance of English, Hindi and Punjabi in our day to day life situations. There was originality, clarity and scholarliness in the presentation by the students highlighting the significance of each of the language. The staff and student audience applauded the performance of the students.
The Budding artists of Delhi International School visited MBBGRGC School, Mansowal for the Interschool Art and Craft competitions of HOL (CBSE) and returned with flying colours having secured many prizes. There was alot of excitement among students for being part of an interschool competition being regularly organised. Students are enthusiastic and working very hard in various areas of skill development.
HOL (CBSE) Sports meet organised by Delhi International School. Volley Ball and Kho-Kho matches were conducted. Five Schools participated and DIS won U- 19 Volley Ball inter-school tournament and Kho-Kho Runner-up in U 14 Inter-school tournament.
The students of Delhi International under the leadership of the School Head Boy Amarpreet Singh of +2 Commerce and Head Girl Jasmeen of + 2 Non-medical along with the School council organised a eye catching Teachers' Day" program on the 5th of September 2019 in the school premises. The teachers were honoured with beautiful thought provoking verses from the students. The cultural program along with the party games was heart touching. The students expressed their gratitute to their teachers and gurus on this day.
Delhi International School, Hoshiarpur got the 1st position in Patriotic Group Song & 2nd position in Bhajan in a District Level Music Competition (Satyug Sangeet Utsav-2019).
Delhi International School, Hoshiarpur got the 3rd Position in Patriotic Group Song in a Inter District Music Competition (Satyug Sangeet Utsav-2019).
We organised an IT Quiz for the students of Grade-6, Grade-7 & Grade-8 conducted by NIIT, New Delhi on 22 November, 2019.
All the students were well prepared for the competition and it was a nail biting finish. Finally Discipline House emerged as winner of IT Quiz-2019.
Delhi International School students won 6 International medals and 26 school medals. The students were awarded with medals and certificates of merit.
