Learning to Learn

A sound academic programme is the heart of any educational institute. keeping in view the NCERT and CBSE curriculum, we have developed a board based and challenging academic programme giving students ample opportunities to explore, experiment and learn, thus preparing them for a rapidly changing world. The programme is kept under constant review by a committee, incorporating the requrirement of education board, government directives, competitions, collages, univessities and other challenging demand of the society. In addition,the research and development team at the delhi international school head office is constantly innovating teaching techniques based on best practices from around world.

Delhi International School, a fully English-medium school, became functional from the session 2012-2013 in a phased manner offering education on CBSE Pattern. For classes I to VIII syllabi has been laid down with due regard to the national curriculum frame work of elementary education prepared by N.C.E.R.T.

At the Nursery and Kindergarten stage a Montessori curriculum is adopted by the school by making the children learn while having fun. Computer education is Infused at the Nursery level itself and teaching is done through audio visual multimedia Aids.

Teaching Methods

Delhi international school follows a holistic apporch in teaching. The Class room is interactive and is appropriately supported by multimedia Teaching aids. Each classroom is equipped with Multimedia Digital Boards where teaching is done through projectors The school provides its students, curriculum developed by Manipal University Edurite k-12 group through these digital boards. The computer education is provided by NIIT Delhi, a pioneer in the field of professional computer learning in a computer lab set up by NIIT. Group discussions, declamations, seminars, visits by eminent guest faculty/speakers, field visits, project work, inter and intra school literary, culturural, sports and information technology activities form an integral part of learning at school.
